On its opening day, It dethroned Rajamouli’s RRR as the biggest Indian box office opener, surpassing legendary hits like Baahubali 2 and KGF 2. Notably, it has also emerged as the top Hindi opener, overtaking last year’s blockbuster Jawan.

For the December 4 premier, the tickets are priced at ₹944 (inclusive of GST) in few theatres. According to the memo from the Andhra Pradesh government, six shows will be screened on 5th December with hikes in ticket prices by ₹100 in the lower class, ₹150 in the higher class, and ₹200 in the multiplexes, inclusive of GST. This is for five shows daily from 6th to 17th December.
Gautam Dutta, CEO of Revenue & Operations at PVR INOX, said that the ticket prices at his theatres range from ₹200 to ₹2,500 across the country, which goes to show how eagerly everyone is waiting for the film.
